About the Café
Grace was never meant to be earned.
Christian Moms Café exists to tell the truth about motherhood at every age — the sleepless nights, the empty nests, and every ordinary Tuesday in between. We write for moms who are tired of performing faith and just want to live it, together, over one long cup of coffee.
Hi, I'm Demetria — pull up a chair.

I built this café because I kept meeting moms — in comment sections, at pickup lines, in my own kitchen — who were carrying an invisible standard nobody ever asked them to meet. So we started something different here: faith that holds you steady instead of holding you hostage, and a room where every stage of motherhood gets a seat at the table, not just the loudest one.
My own daughters are grown now, building their own lives, but watching them move through such different seasons is a daily reminder that there's no one right way to do this. Before this cafe, I spent two decades in digital publishing, telling other people's stories. This is the first one I've built to tell the truth about mine, while giving other moms a chance to tell their truths too.
This started as a podcast, and it still is one.
Our Story Over The Years
Two decades of finding my people online, one podcast at a time — and how it all led here.
Where It All Began
Launched a website design business and Christian Ladies Connect — an online magazine, a space for teleseminars, and a community for women of faith — plus Christian Ladies Talk Radio, the show that would later become my first podcast.
Faith Media
Launched a web design and online marketing consultancy, offering podcasting support for women of faith.
Several podcasts, and podcast coaching begins
Launched GodCast News, Publish a Podcast, and Christian Ladies Business Radio, plus the Internet Radio Podcast Bootcamp — and started coaching women entrepreneurs on launching podcasts for business and ministry.
Christian Women Podcaster's Network launches
The first iteration of a network built to connect and support women of faith in podcasting.
Christian Homeschool Moms Podcast
A monthly show that reached over 20,000 listens and a deeply engaged homeschooling community — planting the seed for everything this cafe would become.
Her Business Elevated launches
Right after the pandemic, I felt the calling to create a podcast focused on uplifting women solopreneurs of faith.
Soul Podcasting Collective, Impact Podcast Coach & the CWPN relaunch
Founded Soul Podcasting Collective, a boutique agency supporting solopreneurs and creatives through the art of podcasting, launched Impact Podcast Coach, and relaunched the Christian Women Podcaster's Network — all still going strong today.
Christian Homeschool Moms relaunches as Christian Moms Café
The podcast returns under a new name — the Christian Moms Café Podcast — alongside the launch of this digital magazine. Pull up a chair.
Meet the Team

Demetria is the founder and Editor-in-Chief of Christian Moms Café, bringing over two decades in digital media and podcasting to a space built on grace over guilt. Beyond the cafe, she coaches podcasters through her agency, Soul Podcasting Collective, and teaches piano and voice lessons over Zoom. She lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with her husband and their Shih Tzu, while her two adult daughters are off building their own lives — one still away at college. In her spare time, you'll find her writing songs, leading worship at church, holed up in a San Francisco café with a good book, or hiking the foggy hills of the East Bay.

Zoe is our Social Media Manager — and honestly, not new to the role. She's been creating content and running social media for Faith Media, the family business this café grew out of, since she was a teenager (yes, this really is a family affair: Zoe is Demetria's daughter). She's also a video editor at heart, having produced content for her high school's video club, and knows how to make a caption feel personal instead of polished-to-death. Zoe is a Communications major at the University of San Francisco. When she's not behind a screen, you'll find her curled up with a book, out at a concert, catching up with friends, or sipping a good matcha.
We're building our table of writers one honest voice at a time — moms who've walked through faith that didn't come easy, motherhood that reshaped them, or a season they're still making sense of. You don't need a byline or a portfolio to belong here (if you don't have one, we'll create it for you). All you need is something true to say and the courage to say it plainly. Maybe you're the mom in the school pickup line with a story burning a hole in your pocket, or the one who's been journaling for years and never shown anyone. If that's you, we've got a seat waiting.
Have a story that belongs at this table?
We're always looking for honest voices to write for the Cafe. Tell us what you're carrying, and let's see where it fits.
